MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd has introduced Foton Motors’ 14 and 17-seater electric vans to the Nepalese market.
These advanced electric vans use a 50.23 kWh battery, giving a range of up to 235 km on a single charge. They deliver 85 kW of power and 290 NM of torque, and can be easily charged at home. The company asserts that these vans are perfect for daily transportation needs, making them ideal for schools, hotels, travel routes, tours, and other organizations that prioritize eco-friendly transport.
MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles launched these vans as part of their commitment to sustainable transportation and reducing carbon emissions. This launch also supports the Nepalese Government’s goal of achieving 100% electric mobility by 2030.
The CEO of MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd expressed excitement about the launch, saying, “We are thrilled to bring the Foton Motors electric passenger vans to Kathmandu. Additionally, the Foton EV van has received the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval certificate from TÜV Rheinland, a renowned independent testing, inspection, and certification organization in Germany. This certification highlights the van’s compliance with stringent safety and environmental standards.
The 14-seater model is priced at Rs 56 Lakh, while the 17-seater is available for Rs 60 Lakh.
